Who is Austin Scott?

I’m an industrial designer with a lifelong dedication to creating products and goods with intention and thoughtfulness. My hands-on curiosity drives much of my work today and influences my approach to the product development process. Whether I’m gathering user insights, exploring early concepts, refining form and function, or dialing in details for manufacturing, I enjoy digging into every piece of the journey.

Over the course of my career, I’ve worked with dozens of brands and hundreds of products, always with a focus on solving the right problems. I believe the best design work is rooted in empathy, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of how a product fits into both people’s lives and the broader marketplace.

But just as important as the work itself is the team behind it. I’ve dedicated much of my career to building and leading teams made up of diverse skill sets and perspectives. I strive to foster an environment of collaboration and growth, and dedicate myself to investing in those around me to grow in confidence, capability, and impact. Design is not an end in and of itself, but a tool that, when wielded effectively, can have a profound impact on people and business success.
