Prestagon Tool Roll

Prestagon set out to create a more versatile and user-friendly way to store and access tools—something more portable than a toolbox, but more usable than a traditional too roll. We began with a broad concept exploration focused on ease of use, visibility, and adaptability across job sites and home use. Dozens of formats were considered, from fold-out panels to rigid clamshells, but the standout concept was a roll-style bag with integrated stand for at-a-glance access.

The final solution features a durable kickstand, waterproof materials, magnetic and elastic organizers, and segmented, zippered storage, making it easy to see and grab the right tool quickly, then roll everything back up when the job is done.

Dewalt Tough Box Storage Add-On

Organizing smaller tools and accessories inside a large job box can be a real challenge. The sheer volume often leads to clutter, making it difficult for users to find what they need quickly. I tackled this problem by designing a softgoods storage add-on that fits neatly inside the existing job box, providing segmented compartments for better organization without taking up valuable space.

One of the biggest constraints was delivering this improved functionality without increasing the cost of the base job box. This modular, lightweight insert could be easily added during assembly or shipped as an optional accessory.

STOK Leather Sandal Design + Construction

This project was an exploration in designing and building a sandal that was as beautiful as it was comfortable. I set out to minimize seams and transitions while incorporating subtle comfort details like a tapered cork heel layer for cushioning, a cupped heel for stability, and a seamless integration between the footbed and straps. The upper and footbed were constructed using high-quality vegetable-tanned leather, selected for its ability to age beautifully, mold to the foot over time, and allow for clean, finished raw edges without additional lining.

A Brand Built on Craftmanship and Intentionality

Beyond the product itself, I began to shape a brand narrative centered on minimalist quality and traditional craftsmanship. Every design decision, from the form of the straps to the exposed stitching was made to highlight the honesty of the materials and the hand-built process. The result is a sandal that feels simple on the surface, but reflects care and intentionality in every detail.

Bespoke Leather Goods

I started working with leather at age 12 under the guidance of a master craftsman, and it’s been area of focus ever since. With over 20 years of experience, I’ve developed a deep understanding of both traditional techniques and modern applications. My work ranges from bespoke soft goods to hand-carved pieces, often exploring innovative construction methods to create unique and modern looking items.

Golf Accessories

As an avid golfer, I’ve always enjoyed the opportunity to design and craft leather golf accessories, especially headcovers. I’ve been making them for decades, continually refining the designs and experimenting with new materials, construction methods, and detailing techniques. It’s an ongoing creative outlet where I can blend my enjoyment for the game with my pursuit of excellent craftsmanship and material exploration.
