Rogue Fitness
Working in the home gym industry presents the opportunity to create products that are both highly functional and adaptable to a wide range of users. From strength equipment to storage solutions, everything must be designed with versatility and ergonomics in mind. These products are used by people of all sizes and fitness levels, often in compact spaces, and must support proper form to reduce the risk of injury or long-term strain. I’ve focused on creating equipment that feels intuitive to use, encourages healthy movement, and serves multiple functions to make the most of the user's space and investment.
Balancing Performance with Manufacturing Efficiency
Home gym equipment also demands thoughtful engineering for metal fabrication. I’ve spent years designing for sheet metal, tubing, and formed parts, always looking for opportunities to reduce complexity and streamline production, rom creating manufacturing standards to minimizing welds and secondary operations.
Inventing the Titan Twist-Lock Barbell Collars (Patent Pending)
I designed the TwistLock® Pro Collars to solve a common frustration in high-intensity strength training: slow, clunky plate changes. Traditional barbell collars are often either too loose to be secure or too stiff to open easily. I set out to create a better solution that requires only one hand to operate, and provides the tactile feedback needed to ensure the fit is tight enough. The result is a patented design that locks plates in place during lifts, then releases with a simple twist for rapid transitions between sets. Machined from lightweight aluminum, these collars are built to withstand heavy use without adding unnecessary weight to your setup.
Tour Edge Golf
I've had the opportunity to contribute to the aesthetic design of upcoming golf equipment for Tour Edge, focusing on elevating the brands aesthetics through intricate 3D geometry, design details, and material selection. While specifics are still under wraps, the products we’ve collaborate on are set to launch in Q4 of 2025 and Q3 of 2026.
